I was able to move out of an abusive household in 2016. I always thought that I was bad at cooking. But, it was my environment; I didn't have a good support system. Moving out was my escape. It was the first time I was able to breathe and realize that I wasn't the problem. I never had the chance to control anything about my situation until I was able to actually leave.

The last few years have been a wild ride. It's now 2023, I have since gotten married. I now have a career in tv and film.

I really enjoy cooking. Food just makes me so happy. There's always something new to try. People constantly share their favorite recipes, restaurants and hacks online. Everytime I'm down I just doom scroll on apps for meal ideas. My husband is more on the the picky eater side; he'll always be willing to try something once if I make it or heavily insist that he'd love it. I once told him that scallops are pig fat of the sea HAHA.

My favorite thing to do while cooking is being able to use up all the ingredients, I try very hard not to waste food or money. If there was a specific type of cuisine that I would have to say that I specialize in it would probably be Japanese cuisine. I watch too much anime and read too much manga for it not to be. Every time I see a meal in a series I'm currently hyperfixating on, I eventually end up making it. I like recreating food I see in media a lot, it's just so satisfying to be able to eyeball a recipe and have it taste so delicious.
