Celebrated my mother's birthday early today instead of next week. Took her out to brunch. Had typical thai food like normal. I brought home jerky for husband. He devoured it all because it was still so fresh and good.

Gonna finish watching Deaimon today, I started it earlier in the week. It's about a guy that goes home to his family's wagashi business after ten years of trying to pursue music, his mother sent him sweets/dagashi with a note saying that his father has been hospitalized, but upon arriving home it was just hemorrhoids and he's currently fine. But in his absence his parents adopted an abandoned 10 yr old child. She learned how to make dagashi very well and is a better salesperson as well all better than the mc son lol so mc's father wants her to inherit the show versus him. The story revolves around them. I'm hoping this doesn't turn into some weird honey and clover shit but they haven't finished the manga and there's only like 3 episodes left so, it'll probably be left open ended.
